In the period 1959-1995 alone ( as far as the researchers are able to track ) al Attas has produced as much writing 26 books and monographs , both in English and Malay language , of these works were translated into various languages , such as Arabic , Persian , Turkish , Urdu , Malay , Indonesian , French , Germany , Russia , Bosnia , Japan , India , Korea and Albania .The first work of al Attas is a book about a series ruba , Äôiyat , both of them are books that are now becoming classics Some Aspects of Sufism as Understood and Practised Among the Malays , published in Sociology of Advanced Research Institute Malaysia in 1963 . Some valuable books such Aspects of Sufism as Understood and Practised Among the Malays then in 1959 the government of Canada through the Canada Council Fellewship , gave him a scholarship for 3 years to al Attas , starting from the year 1960 in the Institute of Islamic Studies, McGill University , Montreal established Cantwel Wilfred Smith .Other works titled The Mysticism of Hamzah Fanshuri , published by the University of Malaya Press , Kuala Lumpur in 1970 . The Mysticism of Hamzah Fanshuri a doctoral dissertation to earn a Ph.D. , the book consists of two volumes and is one of the important academic works and comprehensively about the Sufi Hamzah Fanshuri which is the largest and most controversial in the Malay world .
Then book called A Raniri and the 17th centure Wujudiyyah of Acheh , published Monograph of the Malaysian branch of the Royal Asiatic Society , in Singapore , in 1966 , and the book A Raniri Wujudiyyah of 17th centure Acheh is a book about Raniri peel out . The fourth book entitled The Origin of the Malay poem , which was published by DBP in Kuala Lumpur in 1968 . This book contains a collection of poems Malay . At the same publisher al Attas also published a book titled Preliminary Statement on a General Theory of the Islamization of the Malay - Indonesian Archipelago , in 1986 .
Concluding his seventh book Postcript to the Origin of the Malay Sya , Äôir , published by DBP , Kuala Lumpur in 1971 . Another book entitled The Correct Date of the Terengganu Inscription , published by the Museum Department , Kuala Lumpur , 1972 . The book had been translated into Russian and French titled Malay Islamic History and Culture , published by the University Kebangsaan Malaysia , Kuala Lumpur , in 1972 . Books Islamic History and Culture Malay is also present in Indonesian version . Proceedings book for the Muslims , in the form of monographs that have not been published , this book consists of 186 pages . After writing a book entitled Comments on the Re examination of al Raniri , Aos Hujjatun al Siddiq : A Refutation of al Attas year later in 1976 published a book entitled Islah back the Concept of Religion and the Foundation of Ethics and Morality , the publisher Force Belia Islam Malaysia ( ABIM ) , Kuala Lumpur , 1976 .
Two years later the book was also launched with the title of al Attas abundance of Religious and Moral Principle , the publisher ABIM , Kuala Lumpur . In 1977 . The Indonesian version of the book while the Malay version entitled Islah the Concept of Religion and the Foundation of Ethics and Morality , as suggested earlier researchers . The contents of the book talking about the concept of Islamic education includes how education was formulated , the notion of education , educational goals , hakaikat education , curriculum and other sebagainnya .
